How much do custom children's books cost?
Personalized children's books at Joonoo.art start at $4.99 for a 16-page digital PDF. In lower-income countries an 8-page edition is $1.99.
Printed books cost $18.89 for 16 pages and $21.06 for 24 pages, plus shipping (from $5.35 in the US).
The 8×8 inch hardcover costs $34.99 for a 16-page story and $39.99 for 24 pages, digital PDF included, plus shipping.

What illustration styles are available?

Who can be in the book?
Every book can star one to five people: your child on their own, siblings together, or the whole family with parents and grandparents. You add each person, with a photo, while creating the book, and all 5 illustration styles are available however many people you include.
The more people in a book, the harder it is to capture every face closely. For the best likenesses, use clear, well-lit, front-facing photos, and check the free preview before you buy.
What age range are these books suitable for?
Our books are primarily designed for children aged 2-10 years. We adjust the complexity of the story and vocabulary based on the age you specify during creation.
What book formats are available?
Every book comes as a digital PDF. Printed books come as an A5 (148×210mm) saddle-stitched softcover or an 8×8 inch (200×200mm) hardcover with a matte laminated cover.

What happens to my photos after I upload them?
Here's the complete lifecycle of your uploaded photos:
- Upload: Your photo is uploaded over an encrypted connection to private storage
- Photo Processing: We analyze the photo to detect features (hair color, skin tone, etc.) for character creation
- Book Generation: The photo features guide us in creating personalized illustrations (the actual photo is not included in the book)
- Storage: Photos you upload for a book are kept in private storage and deleted automatically 30 days after your book is delivered. If you don't buy the book, they are deleted 30 days after you create it. If you buy a book that we have not been able to deliver, they are deleted 180 days after you pay. Free-cover photos are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Book Files: Unbought previews are deleted after 30 days without activity (we email you first when we can). Purchased books' illustrations and PDFs are kept for 6 months after delivery, so download your PDF to keep it.
Important: The illustrations in your book are artistic interpretations, not actual photos. Your original photos are never included in the final book.
