Personalized Children's Books in French
Français
Whether you live in France, Québec, Belgium or anywhere else, a book in French starring your own child is a lovely way to keep the language close. It works well for families raising bilingual children, for French immersion students, and as a gift from a grand-mère or grand-père.
Joonoo.art writes and illustrates an original story around your child from a photo. You choose the theme, one of 15 illustration styles, and up to five family members or friends to join the adventure. Pick French as the story language and the whole book is written in French, with accents, punctuation and typography handled properly in both the PDF and the printed book.

Is the story actually written in French, or translated afterwards?
You choose French as the story language and the story is written in French, so it reads naturally rather than like a word-for-word translation.
Will accents and French punctuation print correctly?
Yes. The PDF and the printed book use fonts that cover the full French character set, including accents, cedillas and guillemets.
Is this suitable for children learning French?
Many families use a personalized book to motivate young readers: seeing their own name and face in the story is a strong reason to read it again and again.
Do I need to fill in the form in French?
No. You answer the questions in English and choose French as the story language at the "Finalize Your Story" step, and the story is written in French. You can also type your own story idea in French if you prefer.
