Personalized children's books are custom storybooks where your child becomes the main character. At Joonoo.art, we create unique illustrated stories featuring your child's name, appearance, and personality, making reading an exciting and engaging experience. Your child sees themselves as the hero of their own adventure.
How much do custom children's books cost?
Personalized children's books at Joonoo.art start at $1.99 for an 8-page digital PDF, or $4.99 for 16 pages.
Printed books cost $18.89 for 16 pages and $23.81 for 24 pages, plus shipping (from $5.35 in the US).
We offer worldwide shipping with local printing in 32 countries to minimize shipping costs and delivery time.

How does joonoo.art create personalized children's books?
joonoo.art creates personalized stories and illustrations based on the information you provide. Simply fill out our form with details about the child, choose a theme and style, and our system will create a unique book tailored specifically to them.
Who can be in the book?
Every book can star one to five people: your child on their own, siblings together, or the whole family with parents and grandparents. You add each person, with a photo, while creating the book, and all 15 illustration styles are available however many people you include.
The more people in a book, the harder it is to capture every face closely. For the best likenesses, use clear, well-lit, front-facing photos, and check the free preview before you buy.

How to create a non-English book:
- Start creating your book normally at joonoo.art/create-book - answer all questions in English
- On the "Finalize Your Story" page, you have two options:
- Use a template: Choose a story template to auto-fill the title and story details in English
- Write your own: Skip the templates and write your own book title and story details directly (in English or your preferred language)
- Select your preferred language from the "Select Story Language" dropdown
- If you used English content, it will be automatically translated to your chosen language!
- Review the content, make any adjustments, and continue to preview your book
The story text, title, and all narrative elements will be generated in your selected language. Character names you provide will be kept as-is.
How do you protect my child's photos and privacy?
We take your family's privacy extremely seriously. Here's our comprehensive approach to protecting your photos and data:
🔒 Secure Storage
- Photos are stored in private, access-controlled storage
- We use industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption for all data transfers
🗑️ How Long We Keep Photos
- Book photos: Photos you upload for a book are kept in private storage and deleted automatically 30 days after your book is delivered (or 30 days after you create it, if you don't buy it). The face crops made from them are deleted at the same time. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time ([email protected]).
- Free family cover photos: Free-cover photos are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can also delete your free cover earlier with the link in its email. If you turn your cover into a book, a copy of the photo is kept with that book and deleted on the book's schedule (30 days after delivery, or 30 days after creation if the book isn't bought).
- Unbought previews are deleted after 30 days without activity (we email you first when we can). Purchased books' illustrations and PDFs are kept for 6 months after delivery, so download your PDF to keep it.
🚫 Never Sold or Used for Other Purposes
- We never sell your photos
- Photos are sent only to our AI illustration providers (currently OpenAI and Google) to draw your book's pictures, as described in our Privacy Policy
- We do not use your photos for training, marketing, or any other purpose
- Each photo is associated only with your specific book and is not accessible to other users
👤 Limited Access
- Only our automated systems process your photos - no human review except in case of errors or customer service requests
- Photos are only accessed by humans in rare cases of technical errors or customer service requests
- All system access is logged and monitored for security

We understand that your children's photos are precious and private. As parents ourselves, we've built our system with privacy as a top priority. Your trust is important to us, and we're committed to protecting your family's privacy at every step.
