JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 10MB. A photo with everyone's faces clearly visible works best.

Your photo is kept private and used only to draw your cover. Free-cover photos are deleted automatically after 30 days. If you turn your cover into a book, a copy of the photo is kept with that book and deleted on the book's schedule (30 days after delivery, or 30 days after creation if the book isn't bought).
