The story is written in Simplified Chinese. Traditional characters aren't offered at the moment.
Is it suitable for children learning Chinese as a heritage language?
Seeing their own name and face in a Chinese story is a strong reason for a child to read it again and again, and grandparents can read the whole book aloud with them.
Do I need to fill in the form in Chinese?
No. You answer the questions in English and choose Chinese as the story language at the "Finalize Your Story" step, and the story is written in Chinese. You can also type your own story idea in Chinese if you prefer.
